We take our jobs very seriously. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have a few laughs along the way. We like to goof around from time to time. Humour and silliness are a part of our culture. Happy employees = more productive employees = happy clients.

Chris Rennehan Scholarship

In 2015, Mandy established the Chris Rennehan Scholarship, named after her late brother. The scholarship is an initiative to get kids and women more involved in trades. Chris was a lobster fisherman who wanted to break free from the hardship of fishing. His dream was to train with Mandy and her team to learn about restoration, repair and installations. Sadly, he died of a massive heart attack at the young age of 38, three months before he would start with Freshco.

Mandy and her staff believe that with the proper mentoring and training, anyone can become a skilled tradesperson. The Chris Rennehan Scholarship helps people take control of their lives and supports them to be independent and confident. Mandy started this foundation in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia but has big plans to reach out to individuals across the country to help single mothers, youngsters and people in need of some direction in their lives.
